Investigator Intern Program
The 19th
Circuit Public Defender Intern Investigator Training Program...
is a 150 Hour Program for those interested in pursuing a career in the field of private investigation.  The program is offered tuition free to interns.  This program was developed, in part, to help achieve the goal of meeting all clients within 24 hours of arrest.

Upon completion of the program, intern investigators will receive a training certificate documenting the valuable experience obtained while enrolled in the program.

Requirements
18 Years of Age
High Degree of Professionalism
Maintain honesty, integrity and dedication to Public Defender's Office
Pass Rigid Criminal Background Check
Good Driving Record and Auto Insurance
Pass Initial Screening
Available at least 15 hour per week between 8:30am and 5:00pm

Interview Witnesses
Examine Crime Scenes
Diagram Crime Scenes
Fulfill Investigative Requests by Assistant Public Defenders
