LifeBuilders of the Treasure Coast, Inc.

The incorporation of LifeBuilders of the Treasure Coast, Inc. in 2009 was the response from the Public Defender’s Office, 19th Judicial Circuit, and community members that low-income individuals in the criminal court and dependency system had financial needs that could not be met by public funding or by family resources.  LifeBuilders has built and has increased its yearly revenue from receipt of grants, fund-raising and donation.

Since May 2010, LifeBuilders has provided the needed resources to fill the financial gap that exists to rehabilitate individuals into a crime-free and productive life in the community.  LifeBuilders Board of Directors operates as a voluntary administrative work-force and is comprised of professionals from the justice, medical/mental health, substance abuse, financial/accounting, and business sectors of the Treasure Coast community.  The board, aided by one part-time Administrative Staff member, and a Volunteer Unit of four community members, monitors and assist clients. Furthering volunteer efforts, a core of doctors and dentists provide reduced rate treatment.  LifeBuilders makes payment directly to the provider for needs that address rehabilitation and renewing life within the community.
